WM
Capture 10 recording hints - 10101 ================================================ NEW WM Capture D3D recording (4K movies and video
games captured from your computer screen) ================================================ Introduction
to WM Capture D3D recording D3D recording mode was added to WM Capture recording
modes because recent software updates from Google and Microsoft to their web
browsers disabled our Background recording mode on Windows 11. D3D mode allows you to capture: · all
types of videos and images, including streaming movies displayed on your
computer screen · video
games, including those with NVIDIA support · video
with high frame rates for fast motion ·
video in HD, 2K, and 4K
resolutions ·
GPU use, low CPU consumption D3D is currently the preferred recording mode,
especially on Windows 11 but you can also use it on Windows 10. This Windows
version continues to support the Background mode. Additionally, WM Capture
continues to provide the Screen Capture mode, enabling you to record your
screen on any computer setup and any version of Windows. The primary purpose of WM
Capture is to provide high-quality recording of any video displayed on your
screen, focusing on direct capture and scheduling of streaming movies. While
it can also record video games, there are certain limitations. Our current tests
show that games played on single and dual monitor setups can be effectively
recorded on Windows systems using Direct3D (more details available here). If NVIDIA drivers are
installed, refer to the NVIDIA Control Panel setup tips found in WM Capture
Options for additional suggestions. Contact WM Recorder support
