Capture mode - using the PIP feature IMPORTANT
NOTE: When Background mode
is still operational try using one of the most exiting Background mode
features, the Picture In Picture (PIP). When combined to
audio rerouting (see https://wmrecorder.com/wmc_guidelines.htm)
.Choose the video window you want to record, redirect its audio to a silent
device (headphones), and activate the "Background Mode."
Your recording video will then play in a Picture In Picture window or be
hidden, with the audio silenced, allowing you to use your desktop freely with
other video/audio applications.
PIP modes allow playback and recording in a small
window that duplicates the recording desktop window. When you are using the Background mode a ‘Detach’
button is shown on WM Capture main screen. Click Detach to open the PIP
window, then click the PIP window to show the menu
You can hide the main recording window, record the main
window visible or hidden, open a browser and do other things while recording.
PIP mode is a unique feature of WM Capture.
