Capture 10 - recording hints 10000 Get
the best recordings with the ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: the
statements below do not apply to the D3D recording mode introduced in WM
Capture version 10.12 and later. Using D3D, you can record movies and games
at HD, 2K, and 4K resolutions with higher frame rates of 30, 60, and up to
100 fps. Apart from the Scheduler, all the features described here pertain
only to the Screen Capture mode and are not applicable to the D3D mode. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE:
as of June 2025, the Google Chrome Canary browser will no longer work as a
second WM Capture browser on Windows 11. We're trying to deal with this
unexpected Google blunder in a future WM Capture version. The information

H264/MP4 video format –
Intel Quick Sync or Nvidia ·
Use
the Background mode –
video image can be covered by other windows or completely hidden. Must be
used when recording UHD (2K/4K) videos. Used when rerouting video and audio. ·
Disable
graphics acceleration –
always necessary for recording streaming movies Note
