Note that as of June 2025, the Google Chrome Canary browser will no longer work on Windows 11. We're trying to deal with this unexpected Google blunder in a future WM Capture version. The information below can only be used if the Chrome Canary browser is fully operational. (see workaround here.)

Click Options, Get the best recordings

· Use H264/MP4 video format – Intel Quick Sync or Nvidia
Necessary for UHD (2K/4K) recording, reduces CPU loading by 50%, best video quality for half the recording file size.

· Use the Background mode – video image can be covered by other windows or completely hidden. Must be used when recording UHD (2K/4K) videos. Used when rerouting video and audio.

· Disable graphics acceleration – always necessary for recording streaming movies
