What’s new in version 10

Fully re-engineered, debugged with multiple new features added

Version 10 is a major redesign of all the previous versions. Recording HD and UHD videos, scheduling streaming movies or Internet radio, audio recording, the Background mode, Google Chrome Canary, recording from a second monitor, User Interface are a few of the upgraded components. Layered recording is a brand new unique feature of this version.

Video/Audio rerouting – layered video (new)
On Windows 11 and 10, WM Capture can now record a video/audio while simultaneously playing another video/audio on your computer screen and speakers (layered video/audio recording). See more about this in the User Guide.

Improved scheduler (new)
Much improved scheduling recording from all popular websites like Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, and streaming sites like Pluto TV, Tubi, and others. New features like emulating mouse clicks required for opening video/audio streams were added, You can now schedule daily web radio recordings or multiple movie recordings in a row.

Improved audio recording (new)
Any audio device internal or external can now be recorded. Audio resampling feature was added to handle Bluetooth, USB, wireless audio sources with sample rates different than Windows default. Dual Audio feature was also redesigned so you can now record video webinars, meetings or classes on a second monitor and add your voice comments without being stuck to your computer.

Picture in Picture - PIP (new)
This new feature allows watching and recording videos or movies in a small resizable window while using the computer screen for something else.

Background mode redesign

Version 10 fixes some of the older bugs including reopening hidden videos that don't respond to the Show button clicks.

Improved video/audio converter
WM Converter can now be used now to compress audio tracks of your recordings.

Movie recording settings updates (new)

Movie websites, especially streaming movie websites, are constantly updating or changing their broadcast rules, especially their user interface. We'll send you updates of all these changes.
